I’m an engineering problem solver and non-profit leader.

Hi there! My name’s Tim. I’m currently a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of British Columbia. Prior to attending UBC, I had the opportunity to attend both the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Camosun College, working with and leading their students’ associations while studying engineering there.

In between school, I’ve worked for organizations all over the map: Linus Tech Tips (a new-media group dedicated to researching technology and teaching consumers what they find), Kiewit (a worldwide engineering company), and Drillform (a cutting-edge oil & gas technology developer), to name a few. Throughout all of this experience, one thing has been clear to me: I want to learn as much as I can in all sorts of domains and discover the best ways to share what I know with my community and the world.

Sharing means spending my time volunteering and helping folks in my community. It also means working on technical projects that better the lives of those around me, some of which you’ll find on here or on YouTube. And it means making sure that my impact leaves things better than when I found it. If you’d like to talk about something that we could work on together, then drop me a line, and let’s see what we can do!
